Louisiana Tech Cross Country returns to action on both the men and women’s side this weekend when the teams hosts its annual Mook Triple-Duals at 8 a.m. Saturday at Tech Farm.
The Louisiana Tech men’s cross country team took home the top spot at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Cross Country Festival while the women placed fourth in the competition, which was hosted by Loyola-New Orleans at Lafreniere Park this past Saturday.
Louisiana Tech head cross country coach Gary Stanley announced the 2016 cross country schedule Monday with the Mook Triple-Duals highlighting the slate on September 17.
With the countdown to the XXXI Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro well underway, several current and former Louisiana Tech student-athletes begin their quest this week to reach the world’s grandest athletic stage.
